2000
Outstanding Achievement Award
The recipients of our first “Outstanding
Achievement” award are
not members of our driver fraternity, but rather a dedicated employee and a
person who goes above and beyond the services he is hired for.
In the year 2000, a very special honor was bestowed on Mercer Raceway Park. The
facility became the first dirt track in the state on Pennsylvania to have their
safety crews certified in Motorsports Safety, trained to the operations level
from the office of the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy. An achievement that has
been recognized nationally through various publications- an additional cushion
of peace of mind in situations that we all hope never occur.
I present you your first 2000 “Outstanding Achievement” winners…Brian Turk and
Keith Schilling.
