2003 Appreciation Award

This year, Mercer Raceway Park felt it necessary to add an Appreciation Award due to the efforts of two individuals.  This recognition is only a small token of what we can give back for the support these two have bestowed on us.  

Chris Shuttleworth will be awarded the second Appreciation Award. 

From May through September, Shuttleworth towed his 360 sprint car three and a half hours from his Wellsville, New York home every week to race against the high-powered 410s as well as the three 360 shows. 

We all know how threatening the weather was this past season, and the fact that only on one occasion did Shuttleworth fail to make the trip, speaks volumes of his commitment.
